Between a Moderate PAS and an Extremist UMNO

This,

“The state government has no plans to penalize the Sungai Rapat assemblywoman, Hamidah Osman for her racist remarks during the recent state assembly. Menteri Besar Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin said Hsmidah had already apologized many, many times and felt that all Perakians should accept her apology”......The Star, 7-July-2008

Or,

At a seminar on Penghayatan Bangsa Melayu at SM Teknik near Kuala Kangsar, Nazri Aziz said that a MB or PM was duty bound to uphold Malay interest. Even if he is a socialist or even a communist, the MB or PM is entrusted to fulfill the social contract agreed upon by the nation’s forefathers.......The Star, 7-July-2008

Malaysians, you have a choice.

One is a PAS leader, a very moderate one, who is prepared to work with others for the sake of the nation; and whose sound judgment and good sense prevail;

Against another,

who is a Cabinet member but talks along the racist line, as though he’s a kampong, uneducated UMNO leader of the lowest hierarchy, who sometimes doubles up as a gangster, a maintenance officer and a housekeeper.
