The PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim returned to Parliament with a majority of 15,671 votes, trouncing BN Arif Shah Omar Shah, who garnered 15,524 votes and AKIM Hanafi Hamat, who lost his RM15,000 deposit after getting only 92 votes.
Despite of vicious and deplorable sabotaging by Umno, working in cohort with the Police, Anwar managed to crawl his way back to Parliament.
