Defeat not an emerging trend, says Pak Lah.

Defeat is not an emerging trend but the apparent emerging trend is denial after denial. Denying seems to be the trend among all the BN leaders. They keep on denying this and that. And that’s what they’re capable of now.

“The loss suffered by the BN in the Permatang Pauh by-election should not be read as an emerging trend for other constituencies”, says Pak Lah.

• Well, what else can you say, Lah, other than denying. You're right. Just one by-election would not set the trend yet, but why don’t you vacate your seat and test out the Pakatan Rakyat once more. After that Najib vacates his seat, followed by Khairy. Let’s see if the trend is real or imaginary.

“PKR adviser Anwar Ibrahim will not get to Putrajaya on Sept 16 as he claims by riding on a wave of defections by Sabah MPs”, says Shafie Apdal.

• Piee, like others, would have no choice but to play down the potential defection – just to be heard, when deep inside him, he knows that defections are highly probable. Well Piee, it’s not just Sabah MPs we’re talking about, as Gerakan MPs, some MCA MPs and some from Kedah Umno are also seriously considering. Anyway, Pie, Sept 16 is around the corner. Just wait and see. If it doesn’t happen then, it may happen later, as Umno is now in disarray, facing credibility problem and continuing to lose ground due to lack of strong leadership.

“BN should not feel upset over Anwar’s win in Permatang Pauh as the seat has always been his base”, says Ahmad Shabery Cheek.

• It would make more “cow sense” to admit defeat rather than just to pacify yourself by saying “it’s OK. It has always been his base”.

• Knowing that Permatang Pauh has always been his base and Umno would never win, why put up a fight, wasted the rakyat money, provided more opportunities for corruption and cemented the politics of hate in the first place.

“No. Chong Wei is not used for BN campaign…………..” OR “No political motive in Saiful’s swearing on the Quran”, so say a few top-notched Umno leaders and Arif Shah, the BN candidate, in the run ups to the Permatang Pauh by-election.

• Nah, you’re you guys kidding, when there Chong Wei was, sitting in front when Arif Shah was delivering his speech.

• And when the poor imam, Ramlang Porigi dreadfully admitted that he was instructed to witness Saiful’s swearing. Amusingly, it happened a day before the nomination.
  

However some rationale Umno leaders such as Tengku Razaleigh, Muhyiddin Yassin, Mukhriz Mahathir and Kadar Shah talked some sense but they are too small to be heard and taken seriously OR the leaders are too engrossed in enriching themselves leaving no time to think of the future.

Something seriously wrong with the Government

In a haste, the DNA Identification Bill 2008 was tabled for the 2nd reading and opened for debate despite protests by opposition MPs.


Questionable moves:

• Why the haste? The DNA Bill was only tabled for the first reading last week on Aug 18; and now it's up for the second reading; whereareas the Universities and University Colleges (Amendment) Act was tabled earlier, in July; and now it's not up for the second reading yet.


• Is this made with mala fide intentions? Is the government having any side motive to this? Is this their last hope to nab Anwar, albeit a seemingly "legal" action?

Why this Bill has to be rejected?

• It has sweeping power just like the ISA. Just as the other draconian laws, it's subject to abuse.

• Anybody can be convicted of any crime. You may be detained for any reason whatsoever, have your DNA sample taken, charge with the crime you didn't commit but can't deny as your DNA profile matches with the one found at the scene of the crime or in the victim's ass (e.g. Saiful "the Sin-Ful" Bukhari). With this almost all unsolved crimes in the country will be resolved.

• Under Clause 13(7), there is no way you can escape from giving your DNA sample, as "a police officer may use all means necessary for the purpose of taking or assisting the taking of a non-intimate sample from a person"

• Under Clause 24, it supercedes all other written laws...."any information from the DNA Databank shall be admissible as a conclusive proof of the DNA identification in any proceedings in any court.

• Under Clause 25, there is no way you could take legal action against (a) the Minister; (b) the Head of DNA Databank; (c) the Deputy Head of DNA Databank; (d) DNA Databank officers; (e) a government medical officer; or (f) a chemist for any act, neglect, default or omission done. Which simply means though they make a mistake, you can't sue them. It also means tampering of DNA samples and profiling is possible.

• The DNA Databank is headed by a senior police officer not below the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police. This is absurd as nobody ..........(you know what).

No denying Anwar of his rightful place in Parliament

The PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim returned to Parliament with a majority of 15,671 votes, trouncing BN Arif Shah Omar Shah, who garnered 15,524 votes and AKIM Hanafi Hamat, who lost his RM15,000 deposit after getting only 92 votes.

Despite of vicious and deplorable sabotaging by Umno, working in cohort with the Police, Anwar managed to crawl his way back to Parliament.

Even Syed Hamid admitted it was the most violent polls in history. Read more here

It’s a truly amusing Malaysia. It's full of happenings. Life is certainly not bored living in a beautiful country like Malaysia. In Singapore, Switzerland, Sweden, Japan and other highly-civilized and clear conscienced-society, one may not get to see the practices of corruption, graft, abuse of power, cronyism, nepotism, back-stabbing, excessive politicking, minorities marginalization and racial discrimination so prevalent in Malaysia. Of late, Malaysians are being overdosed with Statutory Declaration after Statutory Declarations and Swearing after Swearing. Don't know if these are for real or just kid-stuffs.

First it was RPK, the true fighter of justice, who declared that he was reliably informed that Rosmah, the first-lady-in-waiting and the husband-wife duo of lieutenant-colonels were at the scene where Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibu was blown up by the C4.

Then Bala, the PI appeared from nowhere with his SD claiming that Najib “the Najis” Razak was the person directing the “Altantuya Murder” play, with Razak “the King” Baginda and the 2 policemen as the main actors.

Not long after, from his secret hideout, Dr. Mohamed Osman Abdul Hamid of Pusrawi Hospital, made a stunning declaration that there was no evidence that Saiful “the Sin-ful” Bukhari was sodomized.

Interesting though, as out of the sudden and not wanting to be left out, a certain Thagarajoo A/L Thangavelu made a SD revealing that Najib “the Najis” Razak was a practising “Hindu”.

Amusing huh!!!!!. Who is next? Could it be Hamzah Zainuddin, the Deputy Housing and Local Government Minister, who may want to statutorily declare that he “loaned” his ex-wife to Anwar? Or Wee Ka Siong, who may also want to statutorily declare that he was actually not involved with the student from China? Or Idris “the Iblis” Jusoh of Idris Jusoh Enterprise, who may want to declare how he and Pak Lah siphoned the RM17b of Terengganu's wang ehsan? Ali Rustam? Nazri Aziz? Tajol Rosli? Anyone? What about Najib “the Najis” Razak himself?

People whom Malaysians love to see making SD or swearing

Pak Lah and Najib for making Malaysia such as deplorable mess

Musa Hasan for his role in the "black eye" case and for putting the police force in such a sad state of affairs

Gani Patail for his selective prosecution in "polishing his political masters' balls"

Adnan Yaacob, the chief gangster from Pahang for his frequent obscene gestures and for his untiring effort in cajoling Najib to part with the RM18b of the rakyat money for the so-called broadband project.



Arif Shah, the "Pek Mo", for the "I'm reading for PHD, though a bogus one" episode and for declaring "No, I didn't manipulate Chong Wei. It was just a coincidence".



KJ, the son-in-law whose big mouth and arrogance always land the father-in-law in deep shit. But who cares, huh KJ?

Zulkifli Nordin, the notorious MP who claimed "I was there as a PPI rep, not as MP" and who said to his equally notorious so-called "protector of Islam" that "if you don't hear from me at 10.00 am, just storm the building"

And of course Anwar himself. Why are you not playing their games? Come on, just play along

After the SD, next came the.....

“swearing” comedy, led by Saiful “the Sin-ful” Bukhari

"I swear that he actually f****d my a*****e. In fact I felt good"

And followed by.....Jeng…..jeng…..jeng….Here comes the mastermind who hides behind the mask.

"I swear that I was not involved (in the murder of Altantuya Shaariibu). I have an alibi. You see, Rosmah and I were at home at that time, performing the ritual lead by Master Ji"

A deep dent on PKR’s image

Barely 6 months in power, PKR's extremists (they're no difference from UMNO's) have shown its true colour by unveiling their darker side.

Unless it takes drastic actions to repair its image to stay relevant, Anwar can forget about forming the Pakatan federal government.

• Kulim-Bandar Baharu MP Zulkifli Noordin should resign from PKR as it’s evident that his belief and practices are poles apart from that of PKR. He and PKR don’t operate on the same platform. Whilst PKR practices inter-faith tolerance, Zul prophesizes militancy and violence. Is this your model MP?

you wouldn't want PKR to be associated with extremists like this, right?



or do you condone unruly and provocative street demo like this?

Even this? BTW, who dares to "cabar Islam" when the nation has accepted it as its official religion?






• Batu PKR deputy chief Mohd Noor Kamil Abd Samad should be sacked. Surely PKR doesn’t want a gangster or hooligan in the party. Gangsters and hooligans are a disgrace to the party and bringing the party down.

cleanse your party from uncivilized character like this before it's too late - before support for PKR starts dwindling

• The two Perak state exco members, Kapt (Rtd) Mohd Osman Mohd Jailu and Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi should be relieved of their respective portfolios, pending investigation; and subsequently sacked if proven guilty.

PKR must dissociate itself from these bigots to regain the voters' trust. PKR must be cleansed of blood-suckers like them.

After 23 years of suppression under the wily, outspoken and recalcitrant but smart Tun Dr. Mahathir, Malaysians were presented with a new breadth when Pak Lah took over.

Once in a political wilderness, he was chosen due to his lucky star, as the 3 “former future PMs” – one by one fell by the wayside, he did pretty well initially.

Dubbed as “Mr. Clean”, Malaysians (minus the UMNO politicians), thought a new hope had finally shone – cleansing Malaysia of its graft-tainted image. But alas, Pak Lah did no better. In fact worst.

The ray of hope turned the ray of nope.

Cronyism, nepotism and corruption were intensified. Family members, close friends and inner circles become filthy rich in an unreasonable spate of time.

Corruption crept everywhere throughout all levels of the administration, throughout all levels of the UMNO hierarchy.

Crimes increase alarmingly. Illegal immigrants can be seen everywhere.

Politicking becomes more intensified.

Backstabbing is the game of the day.

Tourists dropped. Investors shied away.

Prices of petrol and diesel went up. Prices of goods skyrocketed.

The rich becomes richer. The poor becomes poorer. The rakyat suffers more.

Though did not qualify to contest, Anwar presented a new ray of hope for Malaysians after the 12th general election in March.

It’s not that Anwar is better than Pak Lah or Dr M, but at least he provides a glimmer of hope.

It’s not that he could do away with all the ills that infect Malaysia’s politics for decades, but at least he provides an alternative – for the better or worst, only time will tell.

Come September 16, this little hope could glitter or diminish.

On a lighter vein.

The 12th general election in Mac'08 presented Malaysians with the opportunity to enhance our vocab - which can be incorporated into their daily lives. Such as:

1. 'Anwarized' - meaning: to get back-stabbed……..e.g. People who have been anwarized may contact the DPM's hotline.
2. 'Badawized' - meaning: to be stupefied ...........e.g. Malaysians seem to be badawized by the media which reports biased news.
3. 'Najibed' - meaning: to be blown to bits .........e.g. In this country, you better be careful with what you say, you can be najibed otherwise.
4. 'Petraed' - meaning: to be exposed ...........e.g. Lately the BN coalition has been petraed in many ways.
5. 'KayJayed' - meaning: to shout for no reason……e.g. He kayjayed in the Dewan and appeared like a moron.
6. 'Balaed' - meaning: to vanish suddenly……………eg. The opposition balaed from the meeting in protest.
7. 'Lingamed' - meaning: to repeat redundantly……e.g. The Information Minister lingamed the same rubbish in the debate recently.
8. 'Soileked' - meaning: to be caught on tape…….e.g. People have stopped using budget hotels as they are afraid of being soileked.
   

A short Malaysian fiction:
Altantuya was cold-bloodedly najibbed after she attempted to petra Najib for anwarising her and not making the promised payments. Razak was badawized into covering up for Najib while Najib balaed from the scene. Razak was actually anwarized. However Najib lingamed that he had nothing to do with it and has been kayjaying on the topic in an attempt to prove his innocence.
Nevertheless, some quarters have been threatening that they have soileked evidence that Najib was involved.
