Police were flexible with Anwar.

“Police decided to be “flexible” and released Anwar on bail although the offence was a non-bailable case”, said Syed Hamid.

“On the arrest, the minister said the police strongly believed that if Anwar had returned to his house in Bukit Segambut, it would have been more difficult to arrest him…..This is because in their previous experience when they tried to serve a notice under Section 111 of the CPC, they weren’t allowed to go in to give it to him personally”.

“By doing what they did, the police avoided having to have a scuffle with him…..Most importantly, Anwar was not harmed”.

• 2 fundamental issues here.
  
  First.
  Can’t understand Hamid!!! What was he trying to imply? Was it that difficult for the police to arrest Anwar had he returned to his house? Was it that difficult for the police to put on their ski-mask and stormed into Anwar’s house? It’s not that they have not done it before. It’s not that they have not scuffled with him before.
  
  Second
• The high-handed action by the police should have landed Syed Hamid in hot soup. As the minister in charge of the police, he should be held accountable for their action.
  
  In many countries, especially the West, the minister in charge usually resigns from his post to take responsibility of the action of their charges but not here in Malaysia.
  
  Malaysia may have inherited the Westminster’s system of democracy from its colonial masters but not the spirit.
  
  In Malaysia, however grave a mistake made or however grave a dereliction of duty or financial impropriety by public officials, nothing will happen and nobody is accountable for whatever.
  
  Well, Najib may say it’s a collective responsibility. Collective responsibility means everybody is responsible for something but how come nobody is accountable.
  
  To list down the cases may be a waste of time but the fact remains that NOBODY IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANYTHING. ANYTHING GOES.

Ang pow cops transferred

Seremban: Four policemen from the Gemas police station have been transferred out after a colleague lodged a report alleging that they received “ang pow”……….

The State Police Chief said the corporal was apparently unhappy because he had received his transfer orders prior to the incident. “He had been working in Gemas for some time and did not want to leave. It was then that he decided to lodge a report against his colleagues.

He said the allegations against the officer-in-charge was also questionable, as he had been stationed there for less than six month…….The transfer of the four did not mean they were guilty.

  Why only transferred out? They should be SUSPENDED pending investigation.
  
  Worst still, the CPO is defending them by saying that the transfer of the four did not mean they were guilty. If they are not guilty, why bother to transfer them? It’s akin to transferring the “rotten eggs” into another basket, thus infecting the new basket, not resolving the issue.

  The corporal lodged a report against his colleagues not because of the alleged graft but because he did not want to be transferred out.
  
  All the while, the public were led to believe that the report was on alleged graft but now, you’re implying that the report was because he did not want to be transferred out.

  Just because he had been stationed there for less than six month, the allegation against the OCS was questionable.
  
  You’re implying that since he was there for less than 6 months, he could not be possibly on the take. Don’t you know that the whole of Gemas station has been “bought”, irregardless of whether the OIC or other officers have been there 6 months, 1 year or 10 years? Likewise, many other stations in the country.
  
  What a joke, Mr. CPO!!!
  
  It’s no wonder that corruption at its lowest level could not be weeded out, if such is the mentality of the state police chief in fighting graft.

Anwar barred from Parliament

Kuala Lumpur: Police have obtained a court order barring Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, his supporters and the public from holding any rally or participating in it within a five-kilometre radius from the Parliament building today.

• A very dangerous precedent set by the Police. Of all parties, the Police, yes, the Police have obtained the court order to restraint Anwar and his supporters to hold any rally in anticipation of the no-confidence motion in Parliament requisitioned by the Pakatan Rakyat.


• Questions before us, Malaysia are aplenty. Are they acting in the interest of the general public? Aren’t they supposed to be apolitical? Aren’t they supposed to maintain law and order in the country without prejudice and preference? Aren’t they supposed to be loyal to the government of the day, irregardless who their political masters are?


• But it seems the Police have now become an aggrieved party? Or at worst, they are now against Anwar?


• As if the court order is not enough to stop Anwar and his supporters, they next resorted to the unthinkable thing that caused the entire commuters in the Klang Valley to suffer. In their overzealous quest to stop Anwar, they have caused massive traffic congestion in Kuala Lumpur by closing all roads leading to the city.


• I can’t comprehend their reason to have to resort to such an action? They might have claimed to have pre-empted any untoward incident as tension was so high. I couldn’t careless if they want to obtain any court order to restraint Anwar from nearing the Parliament building, or Mahathir from his scratching attacks on Pak Lah, or Lim Guan Eng from inviting BN leaders from sitting in his committees or bodies aimed at uplifting the lifes of the Penangites, or Husam Musa from enticing BN reps to join PAS or Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin from working closely with DAP or even Yong Teck Lee from supporting the motion of no-confidence, but what irked me most was the traffic congestion caused by their stupid action. The traffic madness was not only confined to KL but over to the entire Klang Valley. It was madness at its best.


• If Anwar and his supporters flout the court order, just charge and put them behind bars. Don’t burden the rakyat as a whole. If there is insufficient evident against them, invoke the ISA – it is your most lethal weapon – to detain them without trial.

Cop vs cops in Gemas station

GEMAS: A policeman has lodged a report against all his colleagues including his superiors allegedly over dissatisfaction on how the monthly bribes from those operating illegal activities was being distributed.
In retaliation, one of his superiors, a sergeant, lodged another police report against the policeman, a lance corporal, for allegedly selling station property to scrap dealers.

A source said the lance corporal, in his 40s, was dissatisfied with his superiors for allegedly taking the lion’s share of the bribes while the rank and file received very little.

  Such is the sad state of affairs in our Police force. There is no denying. It happens, everywhere, not only Gemas, as everybody knows it. There is no stop to it, as we Malaysian public have the tendency to “give” to avoid being penalized; and our policemen are very greedy lots; and the attitude adopted by them is “since people give, we take la. There is nothing wrong ma. Everybody also take, including senior officers ”.
  
  Gemas revelation is just the tip of the iceberg. What about other stations? Presumably almost the same state of affairs la. What differs is the size of the cake – the more senior ones get a bigger share as compared to the junior ones.
  
  Most probable scenario: Somebody will be investigated and possibly prosecuted ....... but alas, only the small fry do get caught. The mighty ones are normally big enough to pierce through the net............and hence the state of affairs in the Police force continues.......... Well, this is our beloved Malaysia. Apa nak jadi…..?

Malaysia has plumetted to its lowest elbs in its entire history. The happenings of late, were unacceptable to normal sane human comprehension. It’s inhuman. It’s insane. It’s disgusting. It stinks.

Are these happenings amusing enough?

1. P. Balasubramaniam, the PI who made 2 statutory declarations, went missing. By doing that, his credibility in being questioned. Nobody trusts him anymore. Maybe he’s being hidden by his protector somewhere. You know in Malaysia, anything is possible; and anything can happen to anybody. Truly amusing, isn’t it?


2. The AG and IGP, who are being investigated for suppression of facts during the Anwar’s saga are still on their jobs. How could their “machais” do their job if they still call the shot. Wouldn’t the IGP vet through the investigation papers before sending to the AG who has the absolute power whether to prosecute of not. Wouldn’t it make cow sense for the AG to decide to prosecute himself. How amusing?


3. Move aside all actors and actresses. Let’s give way to the arrogant, selfish, back-stabbing, mudslingering and greedy politicians. Their dramas are much better. They look very real. Aren’t they amusing?


4. Certain unscrupulous groups are planning a rally of 1 million people to protest against the fuel hike. What can they do? If they achieve the 1 million mark, will the fuel price goes down? This is unhealthy, as any demonstration or rally in a highly-tensed political and racial situation like now, needs only a small trigger to spark off racial clashes. What is more amusing is that the organisers are also in power in some parts in Malaysia?


5. With the emergence of Bala’s SDs, RPK’s SD, the sodomy things, the Saiful’s photo in Najib’s office, everybody backed down from focussing on Pak Lah. How come? Some theories may be true. Amusing, isn’t it?

Kini Malaysia berada keadaan yang amat kritikal. Jika anda seorang biasa yang pergi balik kerja tanpa mengambil kira perkembangan politik kontemporari tanah air, tak ambil tahu apa Pah Lh buat, apa Anwar cakap, apa Mahathir kata, apa Ku Li bisik, anda mungkin tidak merasakannya. Tapi jika anda mengambil berat terhadap landskrap politik, anda mungkin merasakan betapa teruknya keadaan.

Pandangan dunia pada Malaysia berapa pada paras yang terendah di mata dunia. Apa taknya. Apa yang terjadi dan akan jadi amat giler sekali. Di luar batasan manusia yang waras. Di luar batasan manusia yang berpegang pada ajaran Agama. Makin hari makin teruk. Inilah gejala-gejala yang akan kita wariskan kepada anak-anak kita. Hai, apa nak jadi dengan Malaysia dah? Cuba bayangkan.............

1. Zaman tuduh menuduh. Anwar tuduh Najib. Najib sangkal dan tuduh Anwar balik. Saiful tuduh Anwar main belakangnya, Anwar sangkal. anwar pulak tuduh Saiful alat Najib. Mahathir tuduh Pak Lah, Pak Lah sangkal. Hishamuddin dan KJ tuduh Mukhriz. Mukhriz menyangkal. Yang dituduh tak semestinya bersalah. Yang menuduh tak semestinya betul. Tuduh menuduh dan sangkal-menyangkal ni kedengaran setiap hari, bukan sahaja di Parlimen, malah di kedai kopi dan mamak juga. Semua orang tuduh menuduh. Hasrat dengki dan dendam bermaharajalela di hati. Inilah Malaysiaku yang dicinta. Apa nak jadi ……..?

2. Selepas tuduh-menuduh, buat akuan bersumpah untuk menegakkan kebenaran. Yang peliknya akuan bersumpah ni bukan semestinya benar. Ada akuan bersumpah yang tidak benar. Yang peliknya ada orang yang sama buat akuan bersumpah yang bercanggahan. Kalau tidak, masakan si Bala itu boleh buat sampai dua kali - yang kedua itu kata yang pertama itu tidak benar. Hey dey, apa ni? Mula-mula RPK. Kemudian si P. Balasubramaniam. Selepas itu siapa pula agaknya? Anwar ke? Najib ke? Pak Lah ke? Dr M ke? Sesiapa pun boleh berbuat akuan bersumpah. Cuma bayar RM4. Akuan bersumpah dijadikan mainan. Boleh main-main sumpah. Akuan bersumpah demi akuan bersumpah. Apa nak jadi.........?

3. Tuduh-menuduh itu diikuti rapat oleh saman-menyaman. Anwar saman Saiful. Saiful saman balik Anwar. KJ saman RPK. Lt Kolonel yang dua orang tu pulak saman RPK. Rosmah tak mahu saman RPK ke? Samanlah. Banyak lagi kes saman-menyaman ni. Mahlamah jadi sangat sibuk. Sebab itu la terjadi banyak kes-kes tergendala. Apa nak jadi dah………?

4. Sabotaj-mensabotaj berleluasa. Kalau tak, masakan BN terus berbuat apa saja untuk mempastikan Kerajaan Pakatan gagal di Selangor, Perak, Kedah dan Pulau Pinang. Ada ada saja yang tak kena dengan Pakatan. Kawan kita ni baru 100 hari+ memerintah. Apa yang boleh dibuat? Yang BN memerintah selama 50 tahun tu apa yang ada? Yang lebih teruk ialah mereka yang pernah memegang tampuk kuasa tetapi telah kehilangan kuasa. Tak puas hati betul mereka ini. Tengok apa yang dah jadi dengan si Khir Toyo. Tengok betapa busuknya hati dia. Semasa dia berkuasa, bukan main aksyen lagi. Semuanya betul. Tak ada yang salah. Tengok sekarang. Dia menjadi lebih teruk daripada pembangkang dahulu. Apa saya yang si Khalid tu buat tak ada yang betul. Kemudian si Tajol pulak. Bukan main tak puas hati lagi. Inilah yang dikatakan “you reap what you sow. Atau “you get back what you give”. Sampai bila ni wahai si Khir dan si Tajol? Cukup la tu. Cukup la. Engkau dah ada peluang tapi buat tahi. Sedarlah sikit. Yang ada untuk diwarisi oleh anak-anak kita ialah keadaan yang semakin kacau bilau. Apa nak jadi …….?

4. Rasuah berleluasa. Kalau dulu kita selalu kata di Thailand dan Indonesia, semua orang di semua peringkat perlu diberikan sesuatu untuk membuat sesuatu. Cuba lihat di Malaysia sekarang. Sama juga dengan Thailand dan Indonesia dulu, mungkin lebih teruk lagi. Malas nak tulis banyak-banyak la. Sakitkan hati je. Apa nak jadi …….?

5. Salahguna kuasa. Jenis rasuah juga ni. Pepatah Ingerís, power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely amat tepat sekali di Malaysia. Apa taknya. Siapa yang paling berkuasa, dialah yang paling kuat rasuah. Salah guna kuasa berleluasa. Di kementerian dan jabatan kerajaan semuanya - dari pegawai serendah-rendahnya hinggalah setinggi-tingginya. Siapa yang tak korup. Dalam jentera pentadbiran kita. Tak kiralah dia dari parti mana. Semua sekali. Dari peon atau ofis boy ke ketua pegawai eksekutif. Macam-macam jenis kejadian, dari pertukaran guru yang tidak sama haluan politik hinggalah kepenggunaan ISA untuk menghalang seseorang. Apa nak jadi …….?

6. Satu gejala yang ketara sekarang ini ialah gejala tunjuk perasaan. Sikit-sikit tunjuk perasaan. Sikit-sikit KJ and konco-konconya tunjuk perasaan. Hoi, tak ada kerja lain ke? Tunjuk perasaan ialah satu gejala yang tidak sihat. Kalau tak suka, tunjuk perasaan. Tunjuk perasaan merupakan satu kerja membantah. Kita patut hentikan gejala ini, tapi kerajaan kita sokong pula. Tapi kalau kita tunjuk perasaan kepada orang lain, ianya OK. Tapi kalau orang lain tunjuk perasaan kepada kita, kita tangkap mereka, guna ISA sumbat mereka di penjara. Terpekik terlolong di tengah-tengah jalan, di depan pagar orang, di depan bangunan amat memalukan. Jadi gentleman la sikit. Guna saluran tertentu. Kalau tak suka, hantar rombongan pergi jumpa orang yang kita nak tunjuk perasaan itu. Kalau tak suka pada AS, panggil dutanya dan taruk dia kuat-kuat. Ini tak. Terpekik terlolong macam disampuk polong. Apa nak jadi ……?

7. Sekarang ini tiada seorang pun di kalangan politikus-politikus di Malaysia yang boleh dipercayai. Mereka ini tiada harga diri dan tiada pegangan. Sesiapa yang sangup bayar lebih atau bagi kedudukan yang lebih selesa, terus dipercayai. Sanggup dibeli dan membeli. Apa taknya? Semuanya lidah bercabang. Tengok Ahmad Sabree dan Ezam Mohd Nor. Dulu bukan main lagi bodek Anwar hingga sanggup bawa beg Anwar ke hulu hilir. Mungkin sanggup juga jilat punggung Anwar. Tapi tengok sekarang ini. Itu contoh saja. Ramai lagi yang macam itu. Hari ini cakap ini. Besok cakap itu pula. Hai, apa nak jadi .....?

8. Jangan terkejut. Sekarang ini sesiapa saja boleh jadi seorang selebriti (dan mungkin kaya raya) dalam sekelip mata, tanpa perlu buat persediaan. Tidak kira anda seorang pelajar universiti, seorang polis, seorang guru, seorang pegawai kerajaan, seorang politikus kecilan maupun seorang rakyat biasa. Apa taknya. Entah berapa si Saiful dapat, tiada siapa yang tahu. Entah berapa disogokkan kepada si Bala sehingga sanggup membuat akuan bersumpah baru untuk menyangkal akuan bersumpahnya yang terdahulu. Entah berapa Razak Baginda dapat untuk dijadikan pak sanggup. Entah berapa Loh Gou Boune dapat untuk mendedahkan VK Lingam dan para hakim di bawah kawalannya. Anda jangan terkejut jika seseorang yang berkuasa mendatangi anda dan menawarkan beberapa juta ringgit untuk mendedahkan seseorang yang hendak dijatuhkannya. Apa nak jadi .......?

9. Tak lama lagi, Malaysia akan bertukar wajah kepada sebuah negara militan, yang tidak selamat tertutamanya kepada ahli-ahli politik. Kita mungkin akan tengok ketua-ketua parti politik di bunuh di sana sini. Sama seperti yang berlaku di Pakistan, Bangladesh, Zimbaqwe dan banyak lagi negara yang politiknya tidak stabil. Apa taknya. Bila dah masing-masing taksub dengan pegangan poilitik masing-masing. Bila dah gila kuasa yang amat sangat. Bila hasrat dendam, dengki, tak puas hati bermaharajalela di hati. Bila tuduh-menuduh, saman-menyaman, rasuah berleluasa. Ini tak mustahil. Anwar pun telah diancam (biar betul). Apa nak jadi dah......?

10. Memang nasib kita dapat Pak Lah sebagai PM. Seorang PM yang asyik-asyik tidur saja, tak kira di mana. Seorang PM yang flip-flop, yang hari ini cakap ini tapi besok cakap itu. Seorang PM yang tiada pendirian diri langsung – semuanya bergantung kepada orang lain. Seorang PM yang tidak pengetahuan langsung kerana tidak minat membaca. Seorang PM yang tidak tahu menahu apa yang berlaku di sekitar dan di sekelilingnya. Seorang PM yang tidak gentleman, yang tidak tahu menilai keadaan – sehinggakan kalah teruk pun tak mahu berhenti. Nak kata cerdik, jauh lebih bodoh daripada Tun Razak dan Tun Hussein. Nak kata bodoh, jauh lebih pandai daripada Dr M. Tapi itu bukan menandakan Dr M bodoh, cuma dia diperbodoh-bodohkan oleh Pak Lah. Walaupun nampak lemah-lembut, latarbelakangkan agama, rendahkan diri tapi Dr M tak sangka yang air tenang itu tiada buaya. Sebijak-bijak Dr M, tertipu juga dia oleh PM tidur tu. Hai, Dr M, apa nak jadi dah……?
